We are dedicated to supporting your path toward healing, and our broad range of offerings guarantees the right fit for your individual needs. Our team offers a caring support system to stand by your side and develops individualized treatment plans for each client.

Our Services

We offer a variety of resources and tools to help individuals manage and work through their addictions. Mental Health Services are certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and are accredited by the Joint Commission.

  • Outpatient Detox – Targeted for individuals who want to safely taper off opioids such as heroin, methadone, and most pain pills. Our detox program lasts approximately one week. No overnight stays are required.
  • Partial Hospitalization – PHP is the most intensive level of outpatient treatment. Addiction, life skills, new ways of coping with problems, and many other issues are addressed.
  • Intensive Outpatient (IOP) – This level of care is for those clients with more intensive substance use treatment needs. IOP provides group and individual services.
  • Outpatient (OP) – The Outpatient level of care provides SAME AS IOP groups and individuals. This group is appropriate for clients diagnosed with moderate to severe substance use disorder.
  • Relapse Prevention – Provides stability, maintenance, and additional recovery support.
  • Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) – This program is targeted at individuals who are opioid/alcohol dependent. We offer Vivitrol, Suboxone, and Sublocade.
  • SUD Case Management/Peer Support – Provides individualized assistance to meet the specific needs of each individual. Case managers assess the current status of the individual and connect them to needed resources.
  • Dual Diagnosis Treatment – Work with a provider to receive treatment for both mental health conditions and substance abuse at the same time.

Mental Health Services

Mental Health Services at Community Behavioral Health are provided by an integrated multidisciplinary team that provides a variety of psychiatric and therapeutic services including assessment, counseling, case management, medication management services, and identification of other referral sources to meet the needs of each individual. Mental Health Services are certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and are accredited by the Joint Commission.

  • Community-Based Case Management -The Case Management team provides individualized and group services to meet the specific needs of the client. Case managers can assist clients in obtaining the benefits and services they need to improve their quality of life.
  • Dual Diagnosis – Work with a provider to receive treatment for both mental health conditions and substance abuse at the same time.
  • Individual, Family and group Therapy – Focuses on providing a therapeutic environment to meet the life stressors an individual or family may be experiencing.
  • Medication Management Services – Assistance with medication management to help alleviate mental health symptoms.

Education Services

Our educational services help clients with a variety of life stressors or aid in meeting legal requirements. Many of these services are not covered by insurance but may be covered by a referring entity.

  • Anger Management – This service targets individuals who have committed an offense. The program offers the client an opportunity to address issues through group counseling, lectures, and educational material.
  • Corrective Thinking – This program is to aid clients with judgment skills, problem-solving techniques, communication skills, boundaries, thinking errors, and difficulty dealing with stress.
  • Diversion for Misdemeanor Offenses – This program consists of screening and a 6-hour Zoom class geared toward misdemeanor offenses such as open container violations, underage consumption, possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Domestic Violence – Program for Survivors- for women and men who have been the victims of partner abuse. The program addresses abuse in both a personal and social context through gender-based expectations, beliefs, and attitudes.
  • Parenting Education – This program is designed to help parents work on communication, co-parenting, appropriate discipline techniques, and assisting with the overall well-being of their children.
  • Substance Abuse Education – Targeted for individuals with a higher substance use risk.
  • Theft Intervention – This group is for individuals arrested for theft or a related charge. The theft program addresses behaviors and issues such as entitlement and thrill-seeking behavior, often driven by stress and frustration.
  • Gambling Addiction – Work with counselors certified to treat gambling addictions and to educate on ways to prevent gambling.

Youth Services

We provide services for youth to increase healthy social interaction, minimize destructive behaviors, and learn positive behavioral skills. These services strive to instill confidence and a sense of purpose that will empower youth. Our School-Based Support program includes clinical team members within the schools helping students overcome behavioral, emotional, or social problems that interfere with success at school and at home.

Representative Payee

Payee clients live a more stable and worry-free life with their bills prioritized and paid on time for them, and money is budgeted and issued each week for their personal spending. The Representative Payee program is a monthly bill-paying service for clients who are otherwise unable to handle their income properly. Services include:

• Individualized budget developed, prioritizing payment of rent, utilities, and other basic needs
• Personal spending money issued to each client on a weekly basis. Weekly funds are issued via check or an electronic load of a pre-paid debit card.
• Extra spending money, if available, can be issued to clients upon request. 2 days’ notice is required, and receipts are requested for any extra spending issued for over $100.
• Any remaining money for each client is saved in their account for upcoming emergencies or quality of life needs. We encourage all clients to build an emergency fund of at least $200 for these needs.
• Electronic record-keeping is maintained for each client and account ledgers are provided to clients upon request, which shows all income and expenses for the time period requested.
• Services available to Social Security recipients, Seniors, and Private Pay individuals.

    • Service Areas: Ohio – Butler, Warren, Hamilton, Clermont, Preble, Montgomery, Clinton, Greene, Champaign, Logan, Brown Counties. Partial coverage in Union, Madison, Fayette, Highland, Darke, Shelby Counties
    • Kentucky– Boone, Kenton, Campbell, Grant Counties. Partial coverage in Pendleton and Gallatin Counties.
    • Indiana- Union, Wayne, Franklin (Partial) Counties
    • Social Security allows organizational payees to serve clients whose local Social Security office is within 75 miles of our Hamilton, Ohio, office location.

Guardianship

About Guardianship Guardians are appointed by the Probate Court to make decisions for their clients relating to health care, living arrangements, money, safety issues or other personal matters. Guardians may be assigned to support individuals who need assistance in decision-making and advocacy based on limitations that impair their ability to make competent decisions. These services are offered to residents in Butler, Warren, Clinton, and Hamilton Counties.

Individuals that can benefit from guardianship services:
• Those who are unable to understand the facts about his or her financial, health care, or living situation well enough to make decisions about any or all of those matters or clearly communicate his or her wishes about any or all of those matters.
• Suffer from an illness, injury, or disability that impairs their ability to make competent decisions

The responsibilities of a guardian can include:
• Making decisions about housing and medical safety.
• Maintaining contact with medical providers, hospitals, family, and other important contacts
• Legal responsibility for signing all needed consents and contracts
• Guardians cannot provide direct care, transportation, manage finances, give consent for medical needs without probate court approval
